 The air here
stinks. Smells like the entire population took up smoking yesterday and
left stale smoke in the atmosphere. ('99 note. Found out recently that
I'm asthmatic, so this would not have done me any good!) Bill boards
for cigarettes exist, some displaying the notion that they're KOOL.
Bought dinner at McDonalds! $3.49 I thought. He charged me $3.79. My excuse for complaining/mentioning the difference was that tax doesn't enter a tired mind. (Also the taxes are in the goods in Australia. The price advertised is the price you pay, so having it different in the USA was something I needed to get used to.) Apart from trying to remember to keep on the right side of the footpath or the road and avoid any tipping prospects I should be fine. Love the walk signs! ('99 note. Wish I'd actually described why I like them. I can't remember them at all!)
Some additions. It wasn't rampaging Roy on the plane. It just sounded like him. (Similar humour) Watched a DS9 interview with Rene Aberjonois (Odo) then watched a black
comedy routine. Amusing if a little confronting. (Sex isn't so openly talked
about where I come from and no, it's not a religious thing, just the result
of being brought up wrapped in cotton wool!)

During my walk I
walked through some people 'on location'. No wonder it costs them so much.
All the vans seemed a bit unnecessary, and the rack of clothes - surely
enough for the stars would've been ample? Obviously not!
