Saturday
Woke up at 11:00am! Hadn't set alarm. Damn. Missed Jacqueline Pearce & Jan Chappell. Missed most of Anthony Ainley and John Levene.

Got to see the Charity auction. Guests would auction off things - Danny auctioned his telephone number! (On a script of course.)

After that was Peter Davison & Colin Baker. The first two dogs, 5 VCRS, 6 cats, 5 bathrooms, cheers/applauds joke began here. Very amusing.

I skipped most of Carole Ann Ford and William Russell. Instead went and hunted people down. I attempted to say hi to anyone in the corridors. Sometimes they ignored it or just replied hi back. Didn't continue conversations. (Which just goes to show that Doctor Who fans aren't any different from anybody else)

Oh yeh. On Friday I bought New Adventure books Iceberg, Bloodheat, Dimension Riders and Left Handed Hummingbird.

At the auction Danny auctioned off his new Tongue Tied video.

Later, the panel was on Danny and he couldn't really handle it. Not many Q's were asked. He played the full video (He had another copy. It had yet to be released in the UK) He auctioned that too!

Colin Baker was was still signing way past his sign time and way into his personal break time. And apparently he'd come early! Cool guy! I got there just as the queue ended and got an audio autograph from him. "Hello there, this is Colin Baker, and you're listening to Doctor Who 2000"

Peter Davison also stayed later to sign autographs.

Additional. Friday stuff. I passed Peter and I said to him that he had to tell the one about performing a breast examination in a Very Peculiar Practice. He replied "Oh, must I?" Sounding very displeased at the prospect. In any case, he was now prepared for it so I asked him that question at his panel and he kindly answered direct to my video camera!

After that was a replay of Dimensions In Time. On Friday we had to choose whether we wanted Mandy or Big Ron to help the Doctor. We got Mandy. On Saturday we got to see the Big Ron version. (Incidentally, we got to see Dimensions in Time before those in the UK saw it)
The Variety Show disallowed video cameras but allowed audio tapes. I recorded the best bits but had to record over my audio of Dimensions in Time to do it. I'm sure I'll get that later.

JNT sang! He also did a ventriloquist act with Wendy Padbury. I certainly wasn't expecting her to pop out of that suitcase. Still sexy for her age.

Anthony Ainley was great. Funniest one there.

Afterwards, joined a group in a room party. Met Lisa Truant. ('99 note. Congratulations, Lisa and Irwin on your marriage) She told me about Craig Charles discovering the after-con massage and reckoning it was something else, barged in. Unfortunately they'd set up a steamy scene for someone else and Craig looked acutely embarrassed.

After I interviewed everyone for Doctor Who 2000 and joined DWIN, I decided to head out and meet up with a group at the bar downstairs for a few minutes before heading off to bed.
