It was great! (I did this after wandering through shops and stopping at
a cafe for an espresso and strawberry & cream brownie.) (Note to
previous self. You're lactose intolerant you idiot!) Also visited a
fossil place, bought dinosaur cards and fossils.
Recorded most of the flight on video and film (Battery and film ran
out but didn't miss anything breathtaking and it meant I finally had the
chance to look out the window properly! (Later found out that none of the
commentary that we heard on our headphones was picked up by the camera.
Funny that!) |
What impressed me was the service. They picked me up from Amtrak station
to get there and deposited me at the Holiday Inn at the end. Gave the woman
driver $10 tip. (How much is $10 worth again?)
Back to hotel. Realized I hadn't bought a Flagstaff postcard. (Postcards
of the local fauna from over 65 million years ago don't count) I slept
then got up and watched an Eddy Murphy movie with Halle Berry playing Angela.
Hot Hot! Then caught ST:TNG. Jean Luc & Beverly's minds are linked
and they finally find out their feelings for each other. Final quote:

Fish and Chips $8.11 so gave $9.00. Realised 10 seconds before she knocked
that a woman would bring it up (Room Service) . No time to do hair! Damn!

Some info re today. The drink I bought was a 'Snapple'.
Mango Madness cocktail.(Note. I was very pleased when it finally made
it to Australia the following year) 5% fruit juice.
